This is Laughing Star (aka Zariadne in WOW) joining the conversation from California with an open mind, an understanding heart, and a respectful voice.

“Life is a safari, a journey into the unknown.” Having worked in the past in emergency medicine, patient advocacy, tax and business accounting, strategic planning and operations management, I am currently managing the Northern California office of an international travel exchange focusing on intercultural communications while moonlighting as an advocate for children with special needs. So you can see why I need escapist gaming once in a while and why I don't mind fishing at the end of the Long Wash!

As a firm believer in the credo of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combination (the Vulcan “IDIC”), I enjoy exploring new languages and cultures and celebrating ethnic diversity with my peers. For me, there is nothing more fascinating or amusing than intelligent discourse with reasoning individuals on any subject that catches our fancy. I look forward to exploring our diversity and experiences together, each growing and benefiting from the fascinating experience of making a new friend and learning something new together. This is more fun for me than a trip to an amusement park, so let the adventure begin!
